MN2S Recordings proudly presents, “The Way” by Windy City phenomenon DJ Rhythm. This soulful vocal track is exemplary of both DJ Rhythm’s melodic craftsmanship and production abilities. Powered by his signature bustling Chicago beats, “The Way” is another beautifully orchestrated piece from the same artist who gave us dance floor filler “Drama” last season (number #1 on the walls of Black Market Records). “The Way’s” melodic jazz guitar, House piano, dirty high-hats and sweeping strings form a truly classic song. The tracks retro feel boasts the vocal talents of gospel singer Unique a.k.a. Kim Cooper who has recently worked with MN2S favourite Jamie Lewis from Purple Music.

On remix duties, Chicago’s Eric Miller delivers two mixes under his Praise Cats and E-Smoove monikers. The Praise Cats mix gives Rhythm’s original a slightly tougher sound with filtered keys, tribal toms and a more “Main Room” feel. E-Smoove’s “Stomp Mix”, a stripped down version minus the live bass giving a classy chunky feel.

MN2S’s own David Elkabas takes things deeper with a tough and chunky vocal dub featuring live bass and Rhodes chords completing a solid package that will be a must for your record box!
