MN2S is proud to unleash the latest offering from New York based DJ-producer and Distant Music owner, Jon Cutler . ‘One’ features the outstanding vocals of legendary vocal diva Jocelyn Brown and looks set to kick off the label’s 2006 release schedule with a blast.
The track is the third of a three single deal Jon signed with MN2S in 2004. The first two, ‘Runnin’ featuring Pete Simpson and ‘Watcha Gonna Do’ featuring Michael Watford, have already proved huge hits both for Jon and the MN2S stable. ‘One’ follows in the same vein; put simply, it’s a deep, powerful track of the highest order. Pete Simpson’s infectious backing vocals blend seamlessly with Jocelyn’s powerful voice and Jon’s signature smooth, crisp beats, culminating in a beautiful house tune certain to cause quite a stir.

Jocelyn Brown is one of the most renowned singer-songwriters in the world. Throughout a career spanning over 40 years she has captivated millions with her unforgettable voice and dynamic stage presence. Her amazing talents have been showcased on productions by the likes of Todd Terry, Cassius, Roni Size, Masters At Work, Ministers De La Funk and Jestofunk. ‘One’ sees her deliver a signature performance, putting her heart and soul into deep, uplifting lyrics.
On the remix tip is Danish DJ-producer Morten Trust , delivering a slightly stripped-down, driving Dub mix. A recognized name on the international house scene, his remix showcases once again his ability to blend tight programming and organic instrumentation.
Also on remix duties is British producer Sir Piers who, through his own Curious Productions imprint, has firmly established himself as one of the fastest rising producer-DJs on the soulful house scene. Featuring Jill Scott’s musical director Pete Kuzma on keys, Piers’ mix is a more bass-heavy gem.
