MN2S are very proud to present a collaboration between the vocalist Jaidene Veda and producer Nick Holder. Under the alias of ‘Dub-bode’, Jaidene Veda first began producing and promoting live house events on the Underground house scene and it wasn’t long before the self-promoting songstress developed a diverse audience. After co-producing her first album, Jaidene was featured on several internationally released 12″ singles and CD compilations. Her EP remixed by London’s House luminary, Pete Heller, landed a spot on Pete Tong’s “Essential Buzz Chart” upon release, and climbed to no.24 after 9 weeks on the Billboard Club Chart.

The producer of ‘Sunday’ is Nick Holder, one of the world’s most championed house producers. Holder’s music career began in the early ’80s when he first started DJing. Later in the decade, he discovered the burgeoning Detroit techno scene only a few hours away from his home in Toronto. Detroit icons like Derrick May and Carl Craig captivated Holder, as did many of the tracks coming from Chicago during the same late-’80s period by producers like Adonis. In the ’90s, Holder began producing his own tracks and released 12″s for a number of labels such as Definitive, Stickmen, Hi Bias, Strobe, and Studio K7, the label that released two full-lengths of his in 1997, One Night in the Disco and Back on Track. Furthermore, Holder released many of his productions through NRK, including many of his biggest hits such as “Da Sambafrique. Holder has gone to release music on other influential labels like Ministry of Sound, Peppermint Jam and the infamous Poker Flat recordings.

The original tracks from Veda & Holder is a laid back production with Jaidene’s smooth vocals sitting comfortably on the rolling bass and kick drums. Holder’s trademark production adds a deep house flavor to this release and he goes on to provide an additional remix in the form of the ‘Sunday Skool Vocal’. Additional remixes come from Jason B, Layabouts, Conan Liquid & Booker T, all adding their production skills to this single package. The remixes offer something for everyone from the US House style production from Booker T, the Garage feel from Conan Liquid, to the straight up House mix from Layabouts. Another strong package from the MN2S label

1Trax are proud to deliver their latest single from Daley Padley.

Daley Padley is no novice when it comes to music production. Having produced hugely significant tracks such as his remix of CC Music Factory’s “Pride a Deeper Love”, his talents have not gone unnoticed and he’s been heavily championed by legendary DJs/Producers such as Roger Sanchez, who named him ‘One to watch in 2007’.

In 2004, Daley was introduced to NYC Superstar DJ and Subliminal Artist ‘DJ Exacta’. Their friendship blossomed and lead to Daley Padley’s first remix of Exacta’s “Shake My Soul” which was instantly signed to Subliminal for a world wide release. Over the last four years Daley has continued releasing high caliber productions and seen further support from Roger Sanchez as well as Deepdish & Chus. Daley has also received huge radio support and has had four of his tracks played on Radio 1 where he has also gained recognition from Radio 1’ new comers, the Trophy Twins who featured him on their “Producer Profile” section in April 2007.

Daley Padley’s original mix of “Tigerstyle” is a stripped down house track, plenty of momentum and drive from the bass line and a hypnotic beat layered over the top. The production builds nicely and is gonna bring heat to today’s dance floors. Mannel & Nikola are the first to remix “Tiger Style” and bring their own take to the track. Adding a more European flavor to the production they have add more BPM’s and provided drawn out breaks that will sit comfortably in today’s minimal house /techno parties. Last up on the remix is the Chris Special mix. Chris delivers a deeper interpretation of the original mix, reminiscent of New York’s early house sound his production brings the remix bang up to date. Haunting echo’s and affects make sure this track is definitely a sound for today’s underground djs and clubs.

MN2S are very proud to present collaboration between Justin Michael, Phonic Funk and singer Maiya. Justin Michael is a multi-talented producer, remixer, DJ and Engineer. Since making his production debut in 2004, Justin has firmly established himself as one of today’s best producers releasing singles such as ‘Funky Love’ featuring Jackie Wilson which spent 16 weeks in the Billboard chart Top 20
Justin has released on some of the House world’s most celebrated imprints and in 2005 went on to set up his own record label Hermosa Recordings. Justin proved his A&R skills are as sharp as his production techniques through the imprint’s maiden release, ‘You Don’t Have To’ featuring the vocal talents of Hawaiian-born R&B singer Jason Lent. In 2007 he released his debut album ‘Everything’ and received critical acclaim. For 2008 MN2S have secured his production skills which will once again show that Michael is emerging as the latest in a long and prestigious line of West Coast producers championing the sounds of quality House music.
For this production Michaels has teamed up with Phonic Funk and singer Maiya. Phonic Funk’s is a newcomer to production but his skills have been quickly recognised and he recently won the Netherlands’ largest producer contest ‘Vinylized’. Phonic Funk can already be found in track lists from producers like Claude Monnet, Hardsoul and Brian Tappert to name a few. With Maiya on the vocals giving incredible power to this monster anthem, we are proud to present you his ultimate collaboration.
The original track is a great house record with that West Coast sound you’d expect from Michaels along with a thumping bass line and a very strong vocal performance from Maiya. The track builds nicely with ample breakdowns for maximum dance floor impact.

The package is complete with underground and instrumental mixes which are ideal for DJ tools as well as a strong remix package from Danism and Funky Soldiers. Danism step up to the mix and take apart the bass line creating a epic interpretation that will keep fans of their trademark techy sound happy. Born To Funk provide an additional remix with a straight up house flavor and in addition also provide their instrumental track and a DJ tool. The Funky Soldiers cut brings a soulful side to the original; a different grove with nice build up and rolling beats from beginning to end ! Watch out for original productions from the Funky Soldiers on MN2S, coming out soon.

Uncle Tech

1trax are very proud to present Todd Terry. As one of the pioneering American house producers he helped define New York’s house scene during the 1980s and has gone on to release a constant stream of underground house anthems. Terry’s productions are influenced by the sounds of classic disco, the more introspective Chicago sound pioneered earlier in his career plus plenty of hip-hop attitude!

Terry’s studio skills have led him to be responsible for two of the most respected crossover remixes of the house era: “I’ll House You” by the Jungle Brothers and “Missing” by Everything But the Girl during the mid 1990s. Although Terry has a long career he is as relevant today as he was twenty years ago and continually tours the globe including this years Miami WMC and regular dates for MN2S in Ibiza and London.

A Todd Terry production is synonymous with quality but 1Trax don’t do things by halves so we have complimented this release with a stellar remix package. With remixes from Bart B More, Conan Liquid, Maya Jane Coles (NiCe7) and our Dutch friends Genetik & Groovenatics we have provided the perfect combination of deep and electro house that you’d expect from 1Trax.

Bart B More has remixed some of the biggest names around and his Dutch debut “Newschool Cuts EP” was a massive smash in his homeland and a mainstay in the DJ boxes of the world’s leading house producers including Steve Angello, Mark Knight, Bob Sinclar, Sebastian Ingrosso, Martijn ten Velden and Axwell. With these credentials, and with Bart fast becoming a rising star, we were keen to add his interpretation of “Uncle Tech” and asked him to make his remix debut for 1trax.

Bart has stripped down Terry’s track delivering a driving and minimal production that will cross over from the house heads to the fans of today’s minimal scene. The production builds nicely and his acid bleeps will bring the heat to the dance floor. In addition London’s Maya Jane Coles who has previously released on Dogmatik Recordings delivers her own interpretation of Uncle Tech. Her remix delivers a quality techno cut with a deeper twisted approach with a cool groove and hook. With a good use of the vocal she has created a dancefloor destroyer!

With Genetik, Groovenatics, Bingo Players & Conan Liquid adding their remix skills to Todd Terry’s “Uncle Tech” this is a strong package that’s going to take club land by storm!
