Have you ever been to Ukraine
We have been to Ukraine 3 times before, and we love it.

What do you know about Ukrainian dance music scene?
To be honest, not so much but we love the vibe and atmosphere in Ukraine and the energy of the people.

Where did you play for last few months?
We have been playing in London , Portugal , Russia, Moldova, Scotland, Cyprus, Egypt, and more

What were the most interesting parties (events) you took part in?
Ha Ha they where all good fun!! We did a great one last week in Lisbon, in an amazing University building on a hill.

How do you usually perform together in the clubs?
I DJ (Mister P) and “One” sings our tracks on top of the set and hypes the crowd up! We normally involve everyone in the club!

How did you meet?
We meet through a London newspaper.

Why did you call your project “Supafly Inc”?
The name was given to us as we had a track called “Superfly” and all it had on the record was just one word – “Superfly”. The track became popular and everyone called it the Superfly tune, so we then called ourselves Supafly.

How do you usually work together on your productions?
We can start in many ways…. sometimes with chords and drum beats… sometimes with a vocal hook….. but we normally just have fun and do the music and words together.

What were your most successful productions?
As Supafly they are “Lets Get Down” And “Moving Too Fast” but we have a feeling our new tune “Catch Me when Im falling” will do better then our past tracks.

Describe your sound
Funky, Sexy, Summer Vibes!

Do you spend your free time together or work only?
A bit of both! We are like a married couple, ha ha!

Do you have any hobbies?
I love entertaining friends and I know “One” likes to go to the Gym…. We both love food and Politics.

What are your plans for the future?
Our plan is just to keep making music and enjoy life, traveling and meeting new people…

Tom Novy

Monday, December 14th, 2009

You just can’t be mad at him: champagne, nipple slips and frenzy belong to every music event. Still, Tom Novy seems to attract them in a very special way. This comes as no surprise though, as he is widely regarded as one of the few exceptionally gifted artists in the music scene. His reputation is not undeserved: Tom has been part of most facets of the music industry, from production to DJ-ing, and even the visual aspect having been a VJ since his early beginnings in the dance music industry.

Tom Novy released his first record I House You in 1995, which directly entered the top 10 of the German Dance Charts. Only one year later he gained international reputation with his single Superstar (from the same-titled second album Superstar released in 2006), which climbed into the various international Top 20 charts. 1998 saw the release of I Rock, which managed to retain its stronghold in the German charts for over twenty weeks.

The beginning of the Noughties saw Tom’s breakthrough into the UK market. His Top 20 hit Pumpin was followed by the release of his Ministry of Sound Annual Compilation, making him the first German artist in this series. The single Your Body featuring singer Mike Marshall, entered the Top 10 in the UK and subsequently dominated the Top 15 charts in twenty other countries!

His debut album My Definition charted in the German Top 30 and spawned the single Welcome to the Race, which was adopted as the official Mercedes-Benz Formula 1 track. To top it all off, his hit Take It became the most aired dance music tune on German radio, peaking in the Top 20 charts as well.

Tom’s excellent taste in music and forward thinking musical talent and vision has been appreciated by many other bands and musicians. He has remixed and produced for 10CC, Backstreet Boys, DJ Thomilla, Erick Morillo, Jimmy Sommerville, Joachim Deutschland, Sander Kleinenberg, Snap, Stefan Remmler (Trio), Ludacris, Marianne Rosenberg, Mousse T, Moonbootica and Sonique, to name but a few. Not to be outdone, he has hosted several TV-shows, among them “Dance Floor Charts”, “Streetlife”, “Battle of DJs” and “Nightlife” on MTV, as well as the “Mac Chart-Show” on Pro 7.

His most recent releases include several compilations such as Retrospective (2011), Global Underground: Tom Novy (2010) and Good Morning Bitches – Nouveau Niveau Vol. 1 (2011).

Tom currently resides in Germany, where he maintains a weekly radio show on FFM as well as a hit show on Radio Energy Munich, which he has hosted for over ten years and is broadcasted internationally. Between making Top 10 hits, mixing internationally acclaimed compilations, and playing for the best dance floors around the world, Tom Novy is guaranteed to get any crowd moving to his beat!

A unique blend of hypnotic grooves, deep vibes and percussive/house beats

Our next 1trax release sees DZeta ‘N Basil’s debut remix of Robert Owens & FS ‘Silence’

Italian duo Davide Zeta and Claudio Basile have very quickly discovered their individual niches in London’s spotlight as a promoter/DJ/producer duo. Claudio’s progressive background fuses with Davide’s passion for house – the result of which is a unique blend of hypnotic grooves, deep vibes and percussive/house beats. This is DZeta ‘N Basil’s first production on 1trax, and their future in 2010 is looking very bright indeed.

Robert Owens is wildly regarded as THE voice of house music. Integral to the developing house scene in the mid 80s, Robert gained notoriety by singing on a number of underground club tracks. Famed for breathing life and soul into house music, Robert adds his own distinct dimension into ‘Silence’.

Robert Owens & FS ‘Silence’ (DZeta ‘N Basile remix) is fully released on 1trax on January 11th 2010.
