Jenny Meadows

A veteran of the international athletics scene for over two decades, Jenny Meadows is a distinguished 400 and 800-meter sprinter now available for a range of after dinner speaking engagements, brand ambassador roles and many more public appearances. Having joined her local athletics club aged seven, Jenny soon went on to early success winning the English Schools and AAA’s National titles at 800m before moving on to the 400 meter event, again winning titles in Chile in 2000 as part of the 4 x 400 meter relay team.

Another break through came in 2009 at the Berlin World Championships where, with a lifetime best time, Jenny won a great bronze medal. She has also been awarded the captaincy of the Great Britain team in the past, often addressing her team with inspirational talks and advice. It is her consistency at events and meets around the world that have ensured Jenny is one of the most revered runners of her generation.

Currently, then Jenny’s accolades include holding the indoor 800 meter record, she has been World Champion in 2009, 2010 and 2011 and is certainly an athlete to watch in the London 2012 Games.
