Lucy Boulton

Available for a range of sporting ceremonies, corporate events or TV appearances is Lucy Boulton, one half of Team GB’s number 1 ranked Beach Volleyball pair. Along with partner Denise John, the pair has been ranked at number 1 between 2006-2009 and Lucy was crowned the Most Valuable Player on the British tour in 2009.

It all began back in 1998 when Lucy switched from playing indoor to beach volleyball after being presented with an opportunity to play the sport in Los Angeles. She has one of the sharpest and quickest serves in the game at a whopping 48 miles per hour and is hoping to pick up an Olympic medal at the 2012 games by deposing current champions, the USA. Lucy’s first international cap came at the age of just 17 and has now competed every year on the FIVB world tour since 2006.

Other honours include victories on the Swedish Tour in 2009/10, British Volleyball Champion in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and podium finishes in many other events. Besides all this Lucy has a Sport Science degree so has a full and comprehensive understanding of her game, making her a great prospect for any after dinner speeches or motivational talks where young people are involved.
