The Guardian newspaper have described her as “boasting the spookily effortless air of a future pop icon” and this success doesn’t look like it will be too far away. Already on the MN2S roster for (and known as) leading the group Jessica 6, Nomi Ruiz is also a well established DJ and solo singer/songwriter lending her hand to one off collaborations as well as larger projects. Most recognised was her vocal contribution on the self titled Hercules & Love Affair Album – with whom she also then toured with, as well as touring with Debbie Harry and Coco Rosie following the release of her own debut album ‘Lost in Lust’.
The success of her involvement with Hercules & Love Affair led to the formation of Jessica 6 who released their debut album ‘See The Light’ last summer and have been performing at the coolest and most glamourous events ever since. Fitting in perfectly with this uber-cool eclectic scene, she has featured on hip ‘V’ magazine as well as various other fashion campaigns.
Nomi is currently touring with her DJ/Live show, spending her spare time in the studio working on the follow-up to See The Light.
