Bradford’s Thomas Sampson first started experimenting with electronic sounds aged just 14, on the much-loved Fruity Loops programme. By that stage he was already accomplished on the piano, and you can tell that by the music he makes and remixes he crafts for a wide range of labels including Ministry of Sound, 3Beat and Absolute Music.
At an early age TS7 was snapped up to remix artists on major labels like Universal including Estelle's ‘American Boy', as well as more underground acts like Yolanda Be Cool, Kissy Sell Out and Afrojack. So too has Sampson featured on a number of official compilations including Pure Garage Rewind, The Sound of UK Garage and The No 1 Electro Album. His sound lays somewhere between well swung garage, vibe driven house and lively bassline, and include hits like ‘Smile', ‘Raise Your Glasses', ‘Ding Dong', ‘Crazy Crush', and ‘Come On Over'. Other accolades for this still young beatsmith include having his music played on national TV shows including E4’s Skins and BBC2’s Sound presented by Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw. In December 2012, Ts7 signed to established Urban/Dance label 3Beat Records (who work with Universal Records). His first releases made a big impression as does the man himself on a regular basis around the world.
