Kiss 100's prime time DJ for Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays - Steve showcases the hottest new dance music to the nation.
Steve Smart is one of the most exciting and leading figures in UK dance music and radio, presenting the start to the Kiss Weekend with Friday Night Kiss (7-10pm) and Saturday Night Kiss (8pm-11pm) across the UK on the Kiss Network.
Steve is also a long-standing resident at the Ministry of Sound in London and on Ministry’s international tours. He also holds a monthly residency at Fez in Cambridge and various other clubs nationwide. Internationally, this year has seen Steve playing live from Hong Kong to Ibiza.
Steve is one half of the remix and production duo Steve Smart & West Funk who have already celebrated three official UK number one’s including their remixes of Example’s Changed The Way You Kiss Me and JLS’ She Makes Me Wanna. After around twenty remixes so far this year you can expect loads more to come as 2011 draws to an end.
Steve is now putting the focus on his own productions with some amazing collaborations lined up. He recently gained the support from BBC Radio 1′s Judge Jules on his track Left Alone earning the well respected ‘Tried and Tested’ (track of the week).
