The students worked with Paul Ward, a Merseyside businessman who declined two different offers from TV’s Dragons’ Den to develop the product.

Paul calls the challenge “Student Trade”. The students were given a brief to re-vamp the product for a younger market – they developed a new name, smell and label at the college campus.

Former world champion hurdler Colin Jackson helped the students launch H2NO. He became involved in Student Trade after meeting Paul and decided to join an education project, different than the sporting ones he usually focuses on.

The Olympic silver medallist said: “I have heard lots about the H2NO project and can see that everyone has been inspired.

“I think that the link between sport and education is very important. I always try to get involved and have set up a number of projects myself. Attending the launch event is great as it is important that students get to see the final product to any project, whether in sport or business, as the process and hard work involved is always the same.”

For more information or to have Colin Jackson speak at your event or endorse your product, contact <a
