Andreas Moe Bio

Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, this 24 year old singer songwriter confesses that his journey has taken some unpredictable turns…

Andreas aged 12 probably would have told you that he was going to be the next Stevie Ray Vaughan, however 4 years later, he discovered his voice when he realized that he had a true talent for writing songs. He formed several bands and armed with a catalogue of original material, he played in virtually every single bar, venue and youth centre in Stockholm. Andreas very quickly became a sought after writer, session guitarist, producer and singer and found himself signing his first publishing deal in the UK in January 2011.

His musical influences have been equally unpredictable. From an early age, he has been an enthusiastic Michael Jackson fan, gone on to worship Iron Maiden and Kiss moving on to the acoustic guitar driven sounds of Jeff Buckley. Andreas’ main inspiration when writing his current EP entitled “My Side Of The Bed” were artists like Beirut, Bon Iver, and even Kanye West, although he describes the final sound as The Script meets Robyn meets Prince. “Electronic but Organic.” The songs he has written cover his experiences with love, both positive and negative and are all inspired by one girl. The heart features heavily in every single song and forms the emotional thread of the EP.

Andreas had his first big break in 2011 when he was asked to feature on international DJ Avicii’s world-wide hit single ‘Fade into Darkness’ and from there the buzz picked up furthermore when he sang and co-wrote the Platinum selling single “Long Time” with Swedish DJ, John de Sohn, picked up by LA Reid in the US on Epic and RCA in the UK. Since then, Andreas has continued to collaborate with well known DJ’s around the world including Norman Doray, Fedde Le Grand and Eddie Thoneick.

2012 blossomed into a great one for Andreas as he has seen further work with Tiesto, Fedde le Grand, Quintino, Avicii with releases imminent. Andreas is currently putting the finishing touches to his 2nd EP titled ‘This Year’ due out early part of 2013. This will be licensed in territories in Nordic, UK, US & Germany and still looking to secure further territories.

Andreas’ fan base and exposure has risen substantially in 2012, and we look to continue that growth into 2013 as we look to build a long term, successful, international music artist.
