BBC 1xtra DJ Ronnie Herel describes Blaise as the one to watch in 2013 and described her talent as “incredible for a 16 year old”

Introducing 16 year old singer/songwriter “Blaise” from South West London. Blaise has been writing thoughtful, sensitive pop songs for nine years and singing for even longer. The second of four daughters, she was born on the
 out skirt’s of London. Although she grew up
listening to Britney Spears, Destiny’s Child, Beyonce and Prince, her unique style of music is purely her own and drawn from her own experiences even at the age of 16!!

“The songs I write come from within me. They are my honest feelings. I use writing to take my mind off things and to release my
emotions. Writing helps to keep me calm”

“Most of the songs I write are about the sort of
things that every teenage girl is thinking of. I guess not everyone turns these thoughts into pop songs but for me it has always been a part of my life. Singing and sharing my feelings feels
completely normal to me.”

Blaise already has enjoyed her first professional record deal, ‘Pretty boy’ by Miss Melody featuring Blaise which was released earlier this year on Dutch label N.E.W.S. “Pretty Boy” went to number 14 in the Dutch Charts!

Blaise will start with her first single “Attitude Ft. Twizzle” which is from her forthcoming EP, set to release in January 2013 and includes a collaboration with up and coming UK rapper Twizzle signed to Warner Chappell and Warner Music.
