Alexis Jordan‘s single ‘Happiness’ has been dominating Kiss & Radio 1′s playlists, and is already showing signs of a Number 1 Global hit.
Due for release on 11th October, the multi talented American singer-songwriter and actress from South Carolina, has reached number 1 on the US Billboard Hot Dance Airplay chart and Hot Dance Club chart. And now she set to storm the UK’s own charts.
Alexis has been singing and writing from the tender age of 11, attracting attention due to her diverse vocal range. More recently, you may recognise her from the first season of ‘America’s Got Talent’ where she blew Simon Cowell away with a heartfelt rendition of Whitney Houston’s “I have Nothing”.
Soon after Alexis relocated to Atlanta Georgia where she began to uploaded youtube videos of her own – accumulating millions of views over a short space of time. This very quickly gained the attention of Jay-Z , who promptly singed her to his own label Roc Nation – a subsidiary of Sony Music. And the rest is history!
