News | MN2S | DJ Pierre: Glastonbury 2014

Saturday night at Glastonbury 2014 saw MN2S artist DJ Pierre take to the decks. His set took place at the Genosys stage in Block 9 from late to the early hours to an eager crowd of dance enthusiasts and festival night owls.

DJ Pierre is best known for his pioneering venture into house music that resulted in the birth of the acid sound. His seminal EP as part of Phuture, titled “Acid Tracks”, was the first release to be referred to as acid house.

The Chicago veteran did touch on acid in his set, but in general he covered broader ground, starting at the darker side of house and techno before pushing straight through to disco. Please click to listen below.
