Wu-Tang Clan rapper Ghostface Killah will release new concept album ‘36 Seasons’ on December 9 via Salvation Music / Tommy Boy Entertainment.
The album features collaborations with the legendary Kool G Rap, AZ and backing band The Revelations, and centres around a story about his alter ego comic book hero Tony Starks. The album comes complete with comic strip artwork by various artists, and will drop just a week after the Wu’s new album A Better Tomorrow.
“When you’re doing a concept album it’s easy”he told SPIN of the creative process behind the album. “It’s like a movie, you already know what you’re dealing with. When you try to do other things, this and that here, that’s cool too, but I prefer the concept. You already know where you’re going with it. That makes it easier for me.”
