Kerri Chandler had another reason to celebrate this year as he won the award in his nominated category the night before his birthday at the 14th edition of the DJ awards hosted by Pacha Ibiza on the 27th September .
He won the Deep House category ahead of other nominees such as Ben Watt, Claude Von Stroke, Jimpster and Francois K. The DJ awards are now regarded as one of the most respected in electronic music and have come a long way since their inception in 1998. They now cover 11 genres of music with over 85 DJs nominated plus 12 special awards with an invitation list of over 15,000.
Since first injecting soul into music in the early 90’s, Kerri has had an amazing career and this summer graced the decks at DC10’s most famous night, Circo Loco in Ibiza. He looks forward to a very busy few months ahead as his popularity just keeps on rising. MN2S congratulate Kerri on this amazing and very well deserved achievement.
