Chicago house producer Terry Hunter and Philadelphia soul singer Jill Scott have teamed up to release The Remixes on T’s Box Records.

The Remixes arrives on Monday 25th July as Jill Scott’s latest full-length album Woman celebrates its first anniversary.

The Remixes is a collection of remixes of four songs from Woman: ‘Can’t Wait’, ‘Lighthouse’, ‘Prepared’ and ‘Coming to You’.

This is the first collaboration between Hunter and Scott, but it is not Hunter’s first foray into R&B. He has previously remixed soulful tracks from the likes of Mary J. Blige, Janet Jackson and R. Kelly, and he has produced music for neosoul stalwarts Raheem DeVaugn and Syleena Johnson.

Jill Scott is no stranger to a house remix. Her tracks have been reworked by producers and DJs such as Theo Parrish, Swirl Peeps and Charles G.

Their previous experiences make Jill Scott and Terry Hunter a match made in soulful house heaven. The Remixes will be available exclusively through Traxsource for its first two weeks of release. It will be the latest in a string of great releases from Terry Hunter’s T’s Box label which includes Paris Cesvette and Paul Brown’s Paris in the Rain and Terry’s own The Message.
