Belgian dance music mega-festival Tomorrowland is set to launch in India.
After selling out their first event in Brazil in 2015 already and staging events in the US, it’s reported the SFX-owned brand has sent a proposal to the Indian tourism board to discuss a possible location.
Tourism Minister of India Dilip Parulekar said “The event organisers [sic] have approached us and have shown interest to host the event in mid of January but the responsibility for identification of land will have to be borne by the group since they require 3.5 lakh sq mts of land which is difficult to identify.”
