Following recent releases on VIVa Music, Gruuv and Electronique, Cera Alba returns to Leftwing & Kody’s Lost Records. Two tracks of muscular, melodic house meets techno, with a darkly-tinged remix from the label bosses and a skipping tech house rework from Christian Nielsen.

Keine Moniker ‘Lonely’ [Motek Music]
Texan producer Keine Moniker [pictured] delivers a brooding vocal cut with a little help from JR Burnside’s impressively soulful tones. Remixes come from Brodanse (techy), Navitas (nu prog) and Low Tide (deep and melodic).

Julian Rodriguez & John Cosani ‘Locked Groove’ [SexOnWax Recordings]
Omid 16B’s label continues with its impressive output with a new 2-track EP of heady prog meets tech house. ‘Locked Groove’ is a warm, melodic atmospheric track with a groove-focused remix from Arnas D, while ‘Planets’ heads in a more hypnotic direction.
