The wait is over. The tracks are in. After over four weeks listening to over 100 different remixes, the team behind Sandy Rivera are finally able to reveal the winner of his massive Pro Tools/Traxsource competition – the intriguingly titled Monday Music Club.
When Sandy put the call out late last year to announce the remix competition, even we were surprised at the high turn-out. Parts for Persuasion were made available and over the following months some truly killer remixes were delivered to our musical front door. In the end though, the final decision lay with the man himself, and it was the Monday Music Club remix that really caught Sandy’s attention.
So far Sandy has dropped the edit on dance floors as far flung as NYC, Montreal, Sao Paulo and Trancoso in Brazil, Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, Bali and Bangkok and Phuket in Thailand. The verdict? They absolutely love it.
Not only will the Monday Music Club have the privilege of adorning Sandy’s sets for the foreseeable future, but they’ll also receive over £1,000s-worth of home studio equipment courtesy of Pro Tools.
