The Best Of Danism – out now

Friday, April 16th, 2010

With more releases on MN2S than you could shake a stick at, the two Dans clearly have it made as we showcase the very best of their MN2S musical catalogue – with The Best Of Danism

Roll back five years, and Dan Smith of Liquid People hooked up with Dan Newtone (a successful DnB producer) in the studio on one fine day. Taking inspiration from ‘Africanism’ and their own god-given names, they formed ‘Danism’ – and got stuck in to producing sultry deep & soulful house on MN2S.

They hooked up with a string of top vocalists including Monique Bingham, Hidiee Levo, Lisa Millet & Michael Watford, and achieved notable productions with Haze – fusing electro into their sound. Since then they have progressed with a run of remixes with the likes of Erick Morillo and some releases on nocturnal groove.

This compilation features each and every single & version they released between 2005 and 2009 including a host of remixes from the likes of Michael Gray, Nick Bridges, Conan Liquid, Groove Junkies, and many more.
