Originally a hit in 2001, Coco Star’s self penned single “It Ain’t Enough” is now featured alongside names like Kelly Rowland and Alex Gaudino on the latest Ministry of Sound compilation – ‘The Sound of UK Garage’.
The track was a top 20 hit in 2001 after being on Artful Dodger’s album ‘All About The Stragglers’ and is a collaboration between Coco Star, Craig David and Artful Dodger. It was the track that landed Coco a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing at the same time as being inhouse writer for the Dreem Team.
Coco Star is probably most famous for her vocals on “I Need a Miracle”- known Worldwide as the mashup- “Toca’s Miracle” which was a number 1 hit in 14 countries in 2000. It has most recently been mashed up once more by MYNC and Australian House Music star, Christian Luke and titled “A Miracle in Melbourne”. The track is doing very well in the US making playlists on the radio stations and hitting the Beatport charts.
