Bill Jamieson is a prominent Scottish Journalist. At the start of his career, he was the executive editor of the country’s newspaper The Scotsman. During his time here, he would frequently write articles covering areas such as finance, economics, politics and current affairs. He would also have a column covering economics in the sister newspaper Scotland on Sunday. He also had a spell as the economics editor of The Sunday Telegraph. All this hard work and success earnt Jamieson awards in 2009 for Business Journalist of the Year and Journalist of the Year.
Jamieson also wrote a series of articles on the Lloyds-HBOS merger which earnt him a further ward of Campaign of the Year Award for The Scotsman. He is also an author having written books covering both economics and politics. His books include ‘An illustrated Guide to the British Economy’ and ‘Scotland’s Ten Tomorrows’.
