Nicolas Kerdiles is a widely recognised American professional ice hockey forward who is currently an unrestricted free agent, meaning that he is a player who is able to sign up for other clubs and organisations. Kerdiles is known for playing for the Manitoba Moose of the American Hockey League, while also under contract with the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League.
He was drafted in 2012 to the Anaheim Ducks.
He moved to California at the age of six, which is where he began to play hockey. He played throughout his junior years for various teams and studied at Wisconsin-Madison University, where he played two seasons with the Wisconsin Badgers. He led the Badgers to success at the Broadmoor Trophy and was celebrated for his performance, being named most valuable player of the 2013 tournament.
In 2014, he signed a three-year contract with the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL, he became the first player from Orange County to play for the team when playing against the Boston Bruins in his debut in 2017. He was later traded to the Winnipeg Jets.
