MN2S: New Year's Events | Features | MN2S

New Year’s Eve is one of the most important dates in the musical calendar. Here’s a round-up of some of the fantastic events our agents have booked for New Year’s celebrations around the world at 2019’s end.

2019 has seen MN2S diversify our rosters further into talent, speakers, voice-over artists while expanding into services such as PR, digital distribution and social media management. Despite this progression, live and DJ bookings remain at the core of what we do – that’s where we started, and it’s still the foundation of our agency. This year, we’ve booked an incredible range of live acts and DJs for events across New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day that represents the diverse range of genres our rosters cover. Check out the details below.

Fedde Le Grand at Barasti Beach, Dubai

The man responsible for the era-defining house classic “Put Your Hands Up 4 Detroit” brings his reliably roof-raising DJ sets to the white sands of Dubai’s Barasti Beach. Rest assured, hands will be in the air.

Tom Shorterz at Mint Warehouse, Leeds

One of Birmingham’s most vibrant selectors and a formidable producer, Tom Shorterz is locked into the house, grime and bass scenes that he grew up with, and you can hear this in blistering sets that have earned him a Rinse FM residency and releases on Virgin EMI and Four40. Shorterz will be tearing up Leeds’ Mint Warehouse on 1st Jan 2020.

The Fatback Band at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, London

Not many groups can claim to have played at the White House and released more than 35 albums, but The Fatback Band can. This legendary group fuses disco, soul, funk and jazz into live shows that leave audiences breathless. Catch them at one of London’s most famous venues on the 1st Jan.

Eton Messy at The Watering Hole, Perranporth (UK)

Ed Byass and Charlie Wedd are Eton Messy, the duo behind the YouTube channel that redefined music curation in the digital age. Now reaching more than 400,000 subscribers, their ubiquitous YouTube outlet pushes carefully selected flavours of house and garage that blend modern production with a penchant for nostalgia. You can witness the pair bringing their selections from the YouTube screen to the club in Perranporth on NYE.

Livin Joy Feat. Luzahnn at New Year’s Eve with The UKG Chronicle, Boxpark Wembley

The group best known for the universally beloved 1990s hits ‘Dreamer’ and ‘Don’t Stop Moving’ now perform in a rearranged line-up with the incredible vocalist Luzahnn. They’re joining DJ Luck & MC Neat, Shola Ama and Sweet Female Attitude for the UKG Chronicle’s celebration of classic UK garage at Wembley Boxpark on the 31st.

DJ Jazzy Jeff at Northern Bass, Auckland, New Zealand

This hip-hop pioneer and turntable wizard is heading to New Zealand for a lakeside festival that spans 29th December to 1st Jan. Sitting alongside Andy C, Ghostface Killah, Goldie, Fabio & Grooverider and Shy FX on a line-up that’s heavily UK-focused and centred around hip-hop and dance music, Jazzy Jeff is certain to bring in 2020 with the same positive energy and celebratory vibes that have made him one of our most popular acts.

MN2S represents DJ Jazzy Jeff and 368 other DJs. View artist bio
