London Pride 2018 is right around the corner, so we thought we’d take a moment to highlight the importance of this weekend’s festival, and voice our support for the movement.
As a booking agency, MN2S is proud to represent LGBTQ+ talent in every discipline.
Our talent roster features several queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race season 10, including finalists Kameron Michaels and Asia O’Hara, as well as winner and reigning America’s Next Drag Superstar Aquaria, who herself performed at London Pride 2017.
We’re also proud to represent Paigey Cakey, the rising grime superstar who discussed her sexuality with Pride Magazine in 2017. And LGBT+ legend DJ Fat Tony, who is currently spearheading Adidas’ star-studded Prouder campaign, is also on the roster, and this really is just scratching the surface of the supremely talented members of the LGBTQ+ community here at MN2S.
A recent survey found that 28 percent of LGBTQ+ individuals had had to hide their sexual orientation for fear of a negative reaction, while 28 percent had experienced insults or harassment in the past year. These statistics may be shocking to straight people, but sadly unsurprising for those who face discrimination themselves.
London Pride, and Pride events all over the world are a crucial part of the fight for equality, a fight which MN2S encourages everyone to support. We’ll see you on Saturday.
