Fatman Scoop joined Mista Geo for an interview, shared on YouTube, that touched on career highlights, meeting Tupac and Biggie, and his time in the Celebrity Big Brother house. Speaking about his time in the music industry, Scoop remarked: “I’ve been doing this professionally for 25 years. It’s been ups and downs, it’s been rocky and it’s been amazing, it’s been a list of everything. That’s how it is.” He went on to talk about his involvement in the “golden years” of hip-hop and describe his friendship with Tupac: “I loved him – he was a good soul, he was a good heart.” Scoop also spoke about what he’s been up to during lockdown, including his own YouTube interview series, in which he’s spoken to Lil Jon, Ludacris, and Roxanne Shante.
