Latest Releases: March 2016 | News | MN2S

The MN2S label services group released some exciting new music this March. Here is a week-by-week rundown of our latest releases.

The tail end of February brought us the triumphant This Is Proud Sound 2016 compilation album, which showcased the current Proud Sound label roster with highlights from Jeff Retro and Port Limbo. Different Attitudes released two great collaborative EPs that same weekend: Mike Vale & Alex Ranerro’s Def Jam EP, and Angelo Draetta & Bonetti’s Feeling My Soul EP. We also heard the Adam Cooper’s excellent Scorched Records track ‘Can’t Breathe’.

In the first week of March, Hideo Kobayashi’s fresh record label Fuente Music’s second release hit the airwaves; the smooth, shimmering house track ‘Look For Light’ is a collaboration between Kobayashi himself and Japanese club legends COLDFEET. Other releases in this week included Carreno is LB’s ambitious, 7-track White Space EP on My Favourite Robot Records and R. Kelly’s ‘Put The Guns Down’ on T’s Box.

Mid-March saw the release of Jamie Jones’ much anticipated Illicit Behaviour EP on Kaoz Theory. The EP hits the high bar set by previous releases from Kerri Chandler’s record labels. The vocal house track ‘Holding On’ by Capulet ft. Robert Owens also came out during this week on Stealth Records, and Quantize Recordings put out their Miami Sampler compilation ahead of this year’s Miami Music Week.

As we moved towards the end of March, Jori Hulkkonen’s Black Books EP on My Favourite Robot Records brought us some dramatic deep house, and Ronnie Spiteri self-released the Move Your Body EP on Undr The Radr.

At the end of the month, Adam Cooper gave us another winner in the form of ‘Free’ ft. Amy K, Lost Records released Rich Wakley’s heavy house masterclass ‘The Wolf of Old Street’, and Data Transmission unleashed Sidney Charles’ uptempo ‘Keep It Real’.
