The attention on Maya Jane Coles over the last 18 months has been about as intense as it gets and for good reason. Her productions, written, produced, engineered and voiced by the young artist herself, have won respect and support from peers, punters and press alike.

2011 saw Maya pick up the awards for Best Newcomer at the Ibiza DJ Awards, Best Producer in the DJ Mag Best of British awards and her most recent EP on Hypercolour, Don’t Put Me In Your Box, has been shortlisted on iTunes best dance singles of 2011.

As we enter 2012 the accolates continute to roll in for Maya with Time Out has placing her at number 1 on their DJ starts of 2012 list.
