Exo is a South Korean boy band who make hip hop, dance pop, k-pop and r&b and who have been active since 2012. In that time they have picked up a huge fan base and have worked with labels like SM Entertainment, KT Music and Avex Trax. This Seoul based boy band has 12 members split into two groups and they all perform in Korean and Mandarin. Their first album was a huge success and sold well over one million copies. It also won both Disk Daesang at the 28th Golden Disk Awards and Album of the Year at the 15th Mnet Asian Music Awards.

Ranked as one of the most influential groups in Korea by Forbes, the band are one of the biggest in the world and are at the forefront of pop domination. Now down to nine members, the band most recently played their latest solo concert tour, which was called Exo Planet #3 – The Exo’rdium, with two encore concerts at South Korea’s largest stadium, namely Seoul Olympic Stadium. Hugely in demand for live performances and still selling millions of singles, their latest Lose Control has sold more than a million copies already and holds 9 Guinness World Records. The band have many endorsement deals with the likes of Kolon Sport and have their own clothing range as well as being goodwill ambassadors for South Korea’s Red Cross Youth in December 2012. As such there is no bigger or more influential band in the world of pop than this talented collective.
