Having started his artistic solo career with Bonzai Records, JD Davis is now an internationally renowned DJ and vocalist.
JD Davis has known success throughout his career, lending his voice and song-writing abilities to titles such as Dave Davis’ Transfiguration (1996), Sinema’s In my eyes (2002), Chab’s Closer To Me (2005) and David Guetta’s The World Is Mine (2004) and In Love With Myself (2005). He was notably elected as the Best International Artist at the Dance Music Awards 2006 in Ukraine.
Known for both his qualities as a DJ (most remarkably for his technical abilities) and for his vocal signature, Davis is in constant activity. Musically he shares his time between his two passions: studio collaborations with artists such as Chab, Antoine Clamaran, Joachim Garraud, David Guetta, Kiko, Sinema, Playgroup (Trevor Jackson) and Marc Romboy, and his live performances. Great crowds gather for his electro-groovy-house sets, where the music and sounds are ceaselessly renewed and during which he sings – interpreting live his own hits! JD Davis is unique in this as he opens the crowds during his live performances to new horizons — slowly giving birth to the concept of a DJ-vocalist!
Davis has released many singles such as Bocca (2006), Losing Track Of Time feat. Yves Larock (2006), Girlz featuring Chab (2007) and Goodthing (2007). In 2006 Davis launched his own label MConvene Records inaugurating it with the above-mentioned single Losing Track Of Time. Tracks such as Get High and Lonely both collaborated with Chab are worth a listen as they convey the best of Davis.
JD Davis is a desired DJ being asked to perform at world venues in places such as Ibiza, Tokyo, Montreal, Moscow, Miami, Chicago, Latin America and many more. Wherever he chooses to go, be sure to follow and expect funky vibes and a passionate atmosphere.
