Sam Brody Jenner was born on August 21, 1983, in Santa Monica, California. He is the son of songwriter and actress Linda Thompson and Olympic Decathlon champion Caitlyn Jenner. Brody grew up in Malibu, California, and attended Crossroads School in Santa Monica. His early life was influenced by his parents’ varied careers and their subsequent marital changes, including being raised for a period by his mother and stepfather, composer David Foster. This background positioned him for a career in media and entertainment, beginning with his introduction to reality television.
Jenner’s career began in 2005 with the reality television series “The Princes of Malibu” on FOX, where he co-starred with his brother Brandon Jenner. This show offered an early look into his lifestyle and laid the groundwork for his future presence in reality TV. From 2007 to 2010, he gained significant recognition as a main cast member on MTV’s “The Hills,” a series that documented the personal lives of young individuals in Los Angeles. His role as a central figure contributed to the show’s widespread popularity and established him as a prominent reality television personality. Following this, he hosted and executive produced his own show, “Bromance,” for MTV in 2009, which further showcased his involvement behind the scenes in television production.
Beyond reality television, Jenner diversified his career into music as an established DJ. He has performed across the United States, Mexico, and Canada, securing residencies at top nightclubs in major cities such as Las Vegas, Atlantic City, New York, Miami, Chicago, San Francisco, and Dallas. In 2020, he launched Mamitas, a tequila hard seltzer company, demonstrating his entrepreneurial capabilities.
