Kiera Austin is an acclaimed Australian netball player in the Suncorp Super Netball league, currently playing for the Melbourne Vixens and having previously played for Giants Netball. Austin is well known on the scene for her renowned skills as goal attack, where her movement and long-range touch are her characteristics on the court.
Austin’s career has seen a spectacular rise, debuting in the Super Netball League for the Giants in 2018, having previously been a training partner for Canberra Giants in the Australian Netball League (ANL) the prior year. She was a frequent member of underage state and national teams before debuting for the Giants, most notably earning a silver medal for Australia at the 2017 Netball World Youth Cup. Impressing everyone in her path, Austin was selected for the Australian Fast5 team at the 2018 tournament in Melbourne and again for the Australian Diamonds squad in 2019. Despite being out for the 2021 season and missing the Giants’ run to the grand final that year, Austin was quickly signed on by the Vixens and held Commonwealth gold a mere year later.
An immensely skilled netball player, Kiera is one to watch over the coming years as she continues to rise through the ranks of the sport. Outside of netball, Kiera is a fan of numerous sports and enjoys sharing updates with her tens of thousands of followers on social media, regularly posting about her lifestyle and sporting activities.
