After suffering from an eating disorder in her teens, she’d begun entering fitness competitions as part of her recovery and become successful, even competing in the world-famous Arnold Classic. This is what brought her to the attention of the WWE.
In 2014, christened Alexa Bliss, she made her televised debut at Wrestlemania XXX as part of Triple H’s entrance. She then made her competitive TV debut on the promotion’s NXT show, competing for the Women’s Championship title. After two years with NXT, she was promoted to SmackDown. Within months, she had defeated Becky Lynch in a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match to become the show’s women’s champion for the first time. In the years since, she has moved between SmackDown and Raw, gaining fans and titles galore. The calculating heel character that she has developed over the years has enabled her to become of professional wrestling’s most popular female stars.
