American actor Nicholas D’Agosto has been and actor for more than 20 years, and is best known for his parts in The Office, Gotham and Final Destination 5.
As a child, D’Agosto showed an early interest in theatre and the arts, performing in several amateur shows and local productions. He competed in public speaking contests, going on to study history and theatre at Marquette University. When he was just 19 he started to be cast in major motion pictures and television shows, starting with Election and Psycho Beach Party. He went on to make several guest appearances in mainstream dramas such as ER, Six Feet Under, House, Supernatural and three episodes of The Office. In 2011 he landed the lead role in Final Destination 5, also making appearances in several stage plays and theatre productions. His theatre credits include Chomsky 9/11, You Can’t Take It With You and several productions with the Antaeus Theatre Company. In 2013, D’Agosto landed one of his biggest roles to date as one of the lead parts in period drama Masters of Sex, before going on to have a recurring role in Gotham from 2014 to 2016.
D’Agosto’s career continues to go from strength to strength and he is now recognised as a household name both in America and the UK. Most recently he had a main role in sitcom Trial and Error and appeared in an episode of The Good Doctor.
