One of the globe’s most prestigious club nights is returning for a series of international dates, commencing in London.
Founder and champion of acid house, Danny Rampling assures fans that today’s Shoom events are a showcase of Britain’s latest turntablist talent, as well as a celebration of the genre’s heritage. With a finger on the pulse and a foot still firmly planted in unity and hedonism, Shoom events remain a forward-thinking party that leave a mark on dance culture wherever they land.
Historically, Shoom has popped up in a wide variety of venues, from small gyms in Southwark, to world-renowned clubs like Cable, Busby’s The End and Bankside Vaults. The one thing each event has in common, is a guarantee that the music will be spun by legendary DJs – previously including Tony Humphries, Derrick May, DJ Alfredo and Leo Mas.
Ever since returning from their legendary pilgrimage to Ibiza during the Summer of Love in ’87, Danny Rampling and his friends have been right at the forefront of British and international dance culture. Becoming London’s first ever clubbing event to house VR headsets, Shoom continue to push boundaries and the expectations of their followers.
Since its first event, Shoom has grown and grown, with tickets now becoming highly sought after for any electronic music fans across the world. A self-professed “riot of colour”, Shoom offers a memorable clubbing experience.
