10 Years achieved a significant breakthrough with their major label debut, The Autumn Effect, released on Universal Records on August 16, 2005. The album’s lead single, ‘Wasteland,’ became a defining hit, spending over 12 months on rock charts and reaching No. 1 on active rock radio in December 2005, and later No. 1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart in 2006.
They then signed with Mascot Label Group in 2016, leading to the critically acclaimed album (How to Live) as Ghosts in 2017. This period also saw touring members like Chad Grennor (bassist, 2018) and Luke Narey (European tour, 2018) join their live performances. The band kicked off the new decade with the singles ‘The Shift’ and ‘The Unknown’ in 2020, ahead of their tenth studio album, Violent Allies, released the same year, further showcasing their blend of alternative and progressive metal. In 2022, 10 Years revisited their catalog with Deconstructed, an album featuring alternate takes of their hits, demonstrating their artistic versatility.
Most recently, the band released the Inner Darkness EP in 2024, maintaining their consistent musical output and dedicated fanbase. Looking ahead, 10 Years has already announced a full-length album scheduled for release in 2025, signaling continued momentum for their distinctive presence in the rock music scene.
