Alexandra Prince, born in Hamburg, West Germany in 1975, began her musical career in Germany with the Booya Family. During this period, she provided vocals for several top hits, including Nana’s Number 1 hit “Lonely” in 1997. Her initial solo release, “How We Livin'”, charted within the top 30 in Germany and maintained its position in the German Charts for 16 weeks, marking an early career milestone in 1998. She continued contributing vocals and co-writing for various artists and projects in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
A significant turning point in Alexandra Prince’s career occurred in 2005 with the release of “So Many Times” by Gadjo featuring Alexandra Prince. This track achieved club hit status and reached number 22 in the official UK Single Charts, establishing her presence within the house music genre. Throughout the 2000s and 2010s, she engaged in numerous collaborations, lending her vocals and co-writing skills to projects with artists such as No Angels, Fettes Brot, Syke’n’Sugarstarr, and Kool Savas, further diversifying her musical portfolio and extending her reach across different genres.
Her work has encompassed a wide range of collaborations and solo efforts. In 2015, she broadened her collaborative efforts, working with DJs and producers including Kid Massiv, Ben Delay, Rio Dela Duna, and Soheil MG. Notable later collaborations include “The Boy Is Mine” (2016) and “Out of My Life” (2017) with Ben Delay, and “Always on My Mind” (2016) with Mark Lower. She continues to record and work with various house music producers globally, aiming to release her debut album, demonstrating ongoing activity and evolution in her career.
