BeBe Winans has established himself as a distinguished gospel and R&B singer, songwriter, and producer, known for both his collaborative and solo work within the music industry. He has consistently delivered impactful performances and recordings throughout his career. After gaining significant recognition alongside his sister CeCe Winans as background vocalists on Jim Bakker’s television program, ‘The PTL Club’ in the early 1980s, BeBe Winans went on to release ‘Lord Lift Us Up’ on PTL’s label in 1984, marking the official launch of his distinguished recording career. As part of the duo BeBe & CeCe Winans, he released five albums, including the critically acclaimed ‘Heaven’ and the platinum-selling ‘Different Lifestyles.’ Their self-titled debut, BeBe & CeCe Winans, was released in 1987, and Winans earned his first Grammy Award for Best Soul Gospel Performance, Male, for the track ‘Abundant Life’ in 1989.

He continued to perform with notable appearances, including joining Eternal at Hammersmith Apollo for ‘The Big Reunion’ in 2014, and has hosted radio programs such as ‘The BeBe Winans Radio Show’ and ‘The BeBe Experience’ for SiriusXM’s Heart & Soul. Winans’ continued musical success is highlighted by his collaboration ‘Father In Heaven (Right Now)’ featuring Gerald Albright, which achieved the number one position on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay chart in 2025, marking his third chart-topping single as a solo artist. This achievement underscores his enduring impact and consistent ability to produce impactful music across gospel and R&B genres.
