United States DJ Walton has transitioned from a successful boxing coach and manager to an actor and stunt performer in major Hollywood productions.

DJ Walton was born in New York and spent his formative years in South Florida. He established himself as the head boxing coach and founder of Onward Athletics in Buford, Georgia. In this capacity, he has been responsible for training and managing his son, Javon “Wanna” Walton, who has achieved recognition as a highly ranked amateur boxer and actor, known for his roles as ‘Ashtray’ in HBO’s “Euphoria,” along with appearances in Amazon Prime’s “Utopia” and MGM’s “Addams Family 2.”
Walton’s career expanded into the film industry, making his debut in 2018 as Adonis Creed’s sparring partner in “Creed II,” where he appeared alongside Michael B. Jordan and Sylvester Stallone. He has since taken on the recurring role of Lucifer 78 in the Starz television series “Heels,” which was in production for its second season. His filmography continued to grow with his casting as Miguel Paez in “Heart of a Lion,” a 2023 release detailing the life of boxer George Foreman, directed by George Tillman, Jr. and featuring Forrest Whitaker.
In 2020, DJ Walton entered the field of stunt work, introduced by director and stunt coordinator J.J. Perry for the film “Samaritan” (2022), starring Sylvester Stallone. Perry subsequently engaged Walton for stunt coordination on his directorial project, “Day Shift” (2023), which featured Jamie Foxx and Snoop Dogg. His recent acting roles also include Caesar in “Chasing Raine” (2024).
