Executive editor of Wired magazine and in-demand public speaker Jeremy White is a leading expert on forecasting design and technology trends. White is responsible for Wired’s product coverage and his role involves travelling the globe sourcing the latest technology and design innovations before they reach the market and everyday businesses. He has in-depth knowledge of emerging trends and the product world, from the Internet of Things to the crowdfunding revolution and 3D technology.
In addition to his role at Wired he has appeared regularly across the media, with appearances on Sky News and the BBC, and he is the technology expert for a number of publications including Boat International, Telegraph Luxury and Wired Desired (the sister publication of Wired focusing on the luxury market). White has written about technology for over a decade, and his career kicked off as technology writer at Esquire magazine where he worked for 6 years from 2006. In 2012 he moved to How To Spend It at the Financial Times, where he contributed technology stories to both the online and print editions.
White landed his first role at Wired – as product editor – in 2013, before promotion to the role of Executive Editor. His extensive knowledge of forecasting trends and the product world means that White is now in high demand as a consultant and keynote speaker to some of the largest consumer brands and manufacturers in the world, and he has participated in panel discussion for the likes of HSBC, Deloitte, Reed, Google, TomTom, Adobe, Johnson & Johnson and KPMG.
