Natural Matters Here teamed up with Aaron Reed's brand, Super Natural Lifestyle, expressing excitement about the collaboration.
Aaron W. Reed was born in San Diego, CA, in 1981. During his early childhood, he battled leukemia, which influenced his interest in comic book superheroes. At the age of nine, his family moved to Minco, Oklahoma, where he began weightlifting while training for football. This early exposure to fitness set the foundation for his future career. His first national television appearance occurred in 2001, at age 20, in “Wild Life Wars” on The Discovery Channel, where he portrayed a mobster’s muscle.
Reed initially pursued bodybuilding, achieving recognition as the World’s Tallest Bodybuilder, standing at 6’7″. He also ventured into professional wrestling, signing a developmental deal with WWE in August 2009, competing under the names Lift Jackson and Lift Sawyer in Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW). His tenure in WWE concluded with his release in January 2010. Following an injury as a pro wrestler, Reed discovered he had hepatitis. Rather than returning to chemotherapy, he chose to manage his health through nutrition, becoming a self-taught nutritionist. This experience led him to author “The SuperNatural Lifestyle” in 2011, a book on performance nutrition, and subsequently establish his meal prep service, Eat Like Aaron.
At 35, Reed committed to an acting career, relocating to Los Angeles. This decision led to significant roles, including “Dude” in the 2021 blockbuster “Free Guy,” working with Ryan Reynolds and director Shawn Levy. He is also known for his role as “The Juggernaut” in the 2024 film “Deadpool & Wolverine.” Beyond acting, Reed continues to be active in the fitness and nutrition communities, advocating for whole foods, mindful macronutrient consumption, and avoiding artificial sweeteners.
