Albert Tumenov

Albert Tumenov is a professional mixed martial artist and two time ACA Welterweight Champion, who currently competes in the Absolute Championship Berkut.

Tumenov was a talented sportsman from a young age, competing as a wrestler and in karate from just 6 years old. He later took up hand to hand combat and then mixed martial arts, turning professional in the sport aged 18. His debut was in the ProFC, with the young fighter bursting onto the scene with a win via knockout in his first ever professional match. He won his second and third bouts too, before signing with the Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2013. Over the next few years he gained a reputation for being a talented and skillful fighter, winning numerous fights and amassing a five win streak between 2014 and 2016. Tumenov was given the Performance of the Night award in 2015 for his victory over Alan Jouban. In 2017, this highly sought after competitor moved to the Absolute Championship Berkut and since joining the promotion he hasn’t lost a bout. In 2019 Tumenov was named the ACA Welterweight Champion, a title he went on to successfully defend a few months later when he won the ACA: 102 match via knockout.
