Alex Caceres
The fabulous athlete Alex Caceres is a mixed martial artist, who competes in the featherweight division of the UFC and has a southpaw stance. He has been a professional MMA competitor since 2008, and after he signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championships in 2010 he started appearing on the reality TV series The Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck. His nickname, Bruce Leeroy, comes from a character in the 1985 martial arts comedy The Last Dragon.
Born and raised in Miami, Caceres started competing in a local underground backyard street fighting organisation as a young man, and quickly established himself as a formidable cage fighter. In 2010, at the age of 22, he signed with the Ultimate Fighting Championship to appear on the reality TV martial arts show The Ultimate Fighter: Team GSP vs. Team Koscheck. He made his official UFC debut in March 2011, and has gone on to be regarded as one of the best in his division. He was a member of team MMA Lab between 2013 and 2019, and then joined team Freedom Fighters MMA.
Caceres regularly connects with his legions of followers and fans through Instagram, posting pictures and comments about his life both in and out of the cage.
