Alexandra Feigin was born on December 22, 2002, in Jerusalem, Israel, and later moved to Sofia, Bulgaria, with her parents. Her immersion in figure skating began in 2007 at the age of five, influenced by her father’s background as a hockey player which frequently brought her to the ice rink. By 2010, Feigin commenced training under coaches Andrei and Ina Lutai, marking the start of her competitive international career representing Bulgaria.
Feigin’s career progression saw her debut in the ISU Junior Grand Prix (JGP) series in August 2016. She advanced through junior competitions, qualifying for the final segment at the 2018 World Junior Championships held in Sofia, Bulgaria, where she finished fifteenth overall. Her senior international debut in 2018 was marked by a gold medal at the Crystal Skate of Romania and a victory at the Denkova-Staviski Cup. She made her senior ISU championship debut at the 2019 European Championships, securing an eleventh-place finish, followed by a seventeenth-place finish at her senior World Championship debut in Saitama. She was also a participant in the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics.
Throughout her career, Feigin has consistently demonstrated her abilities, earning a bronze medal at the 2019 Denis Ten Memorial Challenge and narrowly missing the podium with a fourth-place finish at the 2019 CS Nebelhorn Trophy. The 2020-2021 season, impacted by global travel restrictions, saw her adapt to competitions like the European-only 2020 CS Budapest Trophy, where she earned a bronze medal, her first on the Challenger series. Her continued success includes multiple Bulgarian national titles and securing a ladies’ berth for Bulgaria at the 2022 Winter Olympics after a seventeenth-place finish at the 2021 World Championships in Stockholm.
