Young, and extremely talented, actress Alison Fernandez has an extremely bright and exciting future ahead of her going off how successful her first 16 years on this planet have already been. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, the child superstar started acting in community theater at the mere age of five. From that very first day her father Manuel Fernandez has acted as her manager and biggest supporter. Alison completed all her theater, singing and choreography studies at A Class Act N.Y.
Only a year after debuting her career, the young talent landed her first TV gig in 2011 at the mere age of six as the recurring role of Zara Amaro on popular series Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. In 2013 Alison landed a recurring role in the Netflix series Orange is the New Black, a role she held until 2015. A year later she cracked the big screen as Rosa Mendez in the 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. 2016 was a big year for the talented actress, landing four guest starring roles; Fresh Off the Boat, Another Period, CW’s Jane the Virgin as young Jane and ABC’s Once Upon A Time. What was originally just a temporary role on the latter quickly turned into a regular position on season 7 of the series.
In 2018 Alison co-starred opposite supermodel Tyra Banks and Francia Raisa as Lex on Freeform’s Life-Size 2. Most recently she lent her voice to the English dubbed version of the 2020 French film Cuties, and appeared in the Disney Channel’s Original Movie and adaptation of the fantasy book series, Upside-Down Magic as Pepper.
