Amy Acker caught her first break with a TV appearance in the 5th and final series of Angel. In this Buffy The Vampire Slayer spin-off, she played Winifred Burckle, as well as Illyria. Her breakthrough performance was so memorable, that she won a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress on Television in 2003.
In 2005, Amy joined the Alias cast. A story of intrigue and espionage, Acker plays the challenging role of antagonist Kelly Peyton. Thanks to her stunning portrayal, Acker graduated a full member of the cast by the end of the series.
That same year, Amy branched out into voice acting. For the children’s superhero series, Justice League Unlimited, Acker voiced the Huntress. This was just the beginning of other voice acting roles, including The Machine in CBS drama series, Person of Interest.
2010 was a busy year for Amy. She became a regular on Happy Town, appeared as Katherine Walters in Human Target and in May got a part in CBS’s The Good Wife.
Two years later, Acker made a memorable appearance in the horror movie Cabin in the Woods, as well as enjoying guest performances in Warehouse 13, Grimm, Once Upon A Time and Joss Whendon’s Much Ado About Nothing.
By 2014, Amy was lucky enough to continue her affiliation with all things superhero, when she was cast as Audrey, in an episode of Marvel’s highly successful, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. An extremely prolific and versatile actress, Amy has a bright career ahead of her.
