Winner of the sixth season of Project Runway All Stars, Anthony L. Williams, is a graduate in Apparel and Textile Designs from the University of Alabama. Williams was presented to the show through his friends, who knew his talent and passion for making clothes and gowns and wanted him to compete. William was first part of the Project Runway, but did not win. However, William was not yet done trying, he applied again and for the second time he appeared on screen much more prepared both mentally and physically. Showing determination, passion and creativity, William won the competition of the Project Runway All Stars. His victory was only the beginning for him. After he was done with the show, William opened his own brand labeles Anthony Elle, where he is not just the fashion designer but also the costume designer and consultant. William also works in films and TV shows, which he believes was a result of his experience in the show which taught him the strategy of working behind cameras. William’s inspiration comes from classic clothing shown on films and music videos, like Audrey Hepburn and Rihanna. Anthony Williams’ is the first African-American to have won Project Runway All Stars. In his time with the Stray Cats, Phantom played in swing, rockabilly, jump blues and glam rock. The trio discovered that Massapeque was not the right center for their audience and so decided to relocate to England where they found their loyal followers. The Stray Cats scored many hit songs with the most famous hit “Rock this Town” released in 1982. The band Stray Cats launched a few successful albums before breaking up in 1984. Slim Jim Phantom also played with famous musicians like the former David Bowie’s guitarist Earl Slick. Phantom, Earl Slick and Lee Rocker created a minor hit song “Men Without Shame”. Phantom now plays drums with the eponymous roots-rock band Slim Jim’s Phantom Trio, a rock and roll group with Kirk Brandon and Mike Peters and Captain Sensible and rockabilly group The Head Cat. Phantom also hosts the Rockabilly Raveup show on Little Steven’s Underground Garage. Besides his undoubted passion for music, Slim Jim Phantom also owns and runs the famous nightclub, the Cat Club on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California.
