Basho Mosko

Warm-hearted American entertainer Basho Mosko is the man behind Basho & Friends, a successful and popular multimedia company that helps kids to learn different language through dance and song. As well as working with innumerable schools and companies, Basho & Friends also has a major online presence and fanbase, particularly on YouTube where its channel has gained over 100,000 subscribers since its launch in 2009 and its content has gained over 44 million viewers. Mosko describes Basho & Friends as a “musical journey through your everyday life”, helping children to learn about different languages and cultures in the most fun and captivating way possible – through song and dance and other engaging, quirky content.

Mosko has been entertaining and educating children in equal measure for over 20 years, but it was when he set up Basho & Friends just over 12 years ago that his profile really began to take off. Since then, as we’ve seen, he has built a huge social media following, winning over children and their parents and guardians alike. His exclusive educational content is also regularly licensed by schools and other educational institutions. He has also developed a Basho & Friends app for iOS phones.

Since 2017, Mosko has also been a partner of FuelED Schools in Houston, Texas. FuelED is a company that is slowly but surely building a movement of relationship-driven educators, who put emotional intelligence and emotional health at the heart of the teaching relationship.
