Critically acclaimed American actress and singer Betsy Wolfe is widely regarded as one of the best Broadway performers of her generation.
Growing up in California, Wolfe gained a BFA from the prestigious Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. It was during her time studying that Wolfe made her impressive Carnegie Hall debut alongside the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra at the age of just 20. Since graduating Wolfe went on to perform in productions including Ragtime, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Ace. It was later in 2007 that Wolfe made her Broadway debut in the role of Katheryn Brawner in the hit musical 110 in the Shade. Now a familiar face on the Broadway stage, Wolfe has played leading roles in musicals including Everyday Rapture, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Bullets Over Broadway. Of her best-known roles, Wolfe was praised for her Off-Broadway performance as Cathy in The Last Five Years. More recently Wolfe was a member of the revival cast for Falsettos on Broadway in 2016 and during 2017 went on to play the role of Jenna Hunterson in Waitress.
Alongside her Broadway career, Wolfe has appeared as a guest star alongside countless pop and symphony orchestras across both the US and Internationally. In 2013 she made her Metropolitan Opera debut in an adaptation of Die Fledermaus and also appeared in the film adaptation of The Last Five Years.
